Actually, it's the name of an old rock band fronted by the rapper Ice T and I didn't even really name it after the band. TBH, after nearly two years, I honestly can't remember exactly why I chose the name. I certinaly didn't do a lot of research on the potential mental trauma it might cause another player. I suppose that makes me "bad"?  
One thing I find amusing about all of this is that if CCP had done nothing, the name of 4S would still be just one more corp. Now everyone in the game and probably beyond is going to hear about it. In censoring the name, more people than ever have heard of it. Kinda ironic, eh? :roll: 
We named it that basically after you brought up that band and we all agreed that it was fitting for the type of corp we wanted to be at the time, and is still fitting for the merc outfit we are now.
As for this thread, I dont play this game to worry about real life symbols/events/anything. When I was forwarded this thread I read through the first 3 pages and said "this is a buncha, RABBLE RABBLE RABBLE, like in southpark". CCP has the right to change ANYTHING in the game, and if you dont like that fact perhaps you dont understand, it is their game and not yours. You pay to play a game, not make any descisions. I find that CCP isn't like most of these other companies developing MMO's you actually have a say in alot of things in the actual game, unfortunately because of this, most of you have figured that they owe you the 'right' to actually have some say in this matter.
You dont, get over it.
This thread is irrelevant to the game and really should be locked.
edit: I just looked at my sig block and the Forum Militants got rid of my harmless picture without sending me messages, AND NOW IT IS BACK!!!! haha
